Are you looking to develop a career in the music industry? OMIC is currently hiring for a full-time Programming Coordinator. The initial contract will be 6 months with the intention of renewal for a further six months.

The Programming Coordinator will build the reputation of OMIC through the consistent delivery of high-quality and engaging programming that is of benefit to our membership and the music community at large in Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, administering and delivering our core programming including Music Mondays, the Independent Music Business Series and the DIY Audio Tech Workshop for Women+. They will also serve as the first point of contact for members and the general public looking to learn more about OMIC and our programs.

Because this position is a government-funded work placement intended to help establish careers in culture, to qualify candidates must be under 30 years of age, in possession of a postsecondary degree or diploma, and legally entitled to work in Canada.
