Susan Odle
President
CEO - 8020CS, Entrepreneur, Singer-songwriter
Susan Odle is a technology veteran, entrepreneur and singer-songwriter. In her current role as Founder and CEO at 8020CS, she is democratizing tech companies' access to experienced leadership to exponentially increase positive outcomes, benefiting shareholders, staff and their families. Susan has released multiple music projects under her stage name, susan o, and her songwriting (Woe) was recognized by FMO (OCFF) as a runner-up in the Songs From the Heart competition. Susan looks forward to bringing her extensive business experience and passion for music to the OMIC Board of Directors and, as OMIC's President, supporting the Executive Director in expanding the positive impact that OMIC has on its members, the music community and the city of Ottawa as a destination city for the arts.
Graham Tinsley

Graham Tinsley is an innovative visionary and entrepreneur who started both THINQ Compliance and Colfax Music. Operating at both ends of the “fun” spectrum, THINQ is a successful regulatory compliance company within the Life Sciences (Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Biotechnology) industry, while Colfax Music builds careers for artists, beginning with High School Rock Workshops and ending with full label and management services. Managing THINQ’s complex technology projects, combining both fiscal and risk management, has been integrated with global touring and the music business as Graham navigates the daily challenges of meeting customer deadlines and ensuring rock band Double Experience can continue to tour the world and achieve their next 4 million music streams.
Chris Saracino

Chris is a digital strategist and communications professional with more than 16 years of experience. He speaks and consults with companies and organizations that span the private and high-tech sectors, federal, provincial, and municipal governments, non-for-profit associations, and the North American start-up community. His specialties include: communications and operations technology; digital strategy and marketing; community management; social media; intellectual property management; and web, print, and digital asset management and development. He has extensive experience in custom-developed software, applications, and UI/UX, and prides himself on a results-oriented and analytical approach to meeting milestones and achieving goals.
Kwende Kefentse

Kwende Kefentse is a creator, researcher, administrator, and cultural innovator based in Ottawa. Over a 20-year career, he’s blended creative practice, cultural industries development, and public policy, and has been featured in CityLab, Spacing Magazine, and Monocle Radio.
As Ottawa's first Cultural Industries Development Officer, he mapped cultural resources and co-led the Renewed Action Plan for Arts, Heritage, and Culture (2013-2018), setting the stage for the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition and the Ottawa Music Strategy (2018-2020). As CKCU-FM's first executive director, he reimagined the station post-pandemic, focusing on technological modernization and community reconnection.
Holding an MRes from UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture, Kwende explored cultural production in local music industries. He’s a research fellow at Carleton University’s Research Centre for Music, Sound, and Society and serves on boards like the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition and Ottawa Film Office.
As DJ Memetic, he’s shaped Ottawa’s underground music scene since 2005 through TIMEKODE, earning acclaim from Vice Thump and Radio Nova. Currently, he’s building a consultancy practice and a boutique mixing, mastering, and music project collaboration space.
Colin Mills

Colin Mills is the Program Coordinator and Professor of Music Business in the Music Industry Arts Diploma Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Throughout his extensive career in the music industry, he has held various executive roles in audio production, media manufacturing, and private music education. He has also been involved in the promotion and management of numerous Canadian artists. In 2021, he received the prestigious Victor Tolgesy Arts Award from the City of Ottawa and the Ottawa Arts Council for his contributions to the city's cultural life.
Colin was involved in the early stages of the creation of the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition, starting back to the original Town Hall meetings in October of 2013 that spawned the formation of the organization.
A lifelong musician, Colin continues to showcase his talents on stage and in the studio with a diverse array of Canadian performers.
Daniel Sauvé

Daniel Sauvé is a guitarist, songwriter, producer, and general manager at Steve's Music Store Ottawa. Mainly known for his work with his rock band Règlement 17, Daniel has been an integral part of the francophone music scene for nearly 25 years and is a former board chair at APCM (Association des professionnels de la chanson et de la musique).
Kevin Ford

Kevin joined Calian Group Ltd. in 2010 and has been the CEO since 2015. Under his tenure, the company has achieved record results, diversified globally, and completed over 15 acquisitions in support of Calian's growth objectives. Prior to his tenure at Calian, Kevin worked close to 18 years in the private sector in professional services firms, including DMR and IBM, where he was a Partner in Global Business Services for over ten years. He started his career in the IT area at the Canadian Department of National Defence, managing material and supply chain applications. Kevin brings over 40 years of experience managing large, complex, and dispersed organizations, building strong relationships in the defence industry, exceeding customer expectations, and developing strong teams. He also brings a solid track record of execution. He is, or has been, a board member for several not-for-profit organizations, including Space Canada, the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Excellence Canada, and the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI). and Kanata North BIA. Kevin was named CEO of the Year by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and Ottawa Business Journal in 2017 and EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019.
