OMIC is partnering with the ByWard Market District Authority (BMDA) to program free live music for the launch of their summer concert series in Ottawa’s ByWard Market District. Taking place every Thursday from 5 PM - 7 PM in the George St Plaza from June 6th through to Oct 10th, these performances will showcase incredible talent in the city. These shows provide paid opportunities to emerging and established artists from and touring through the National Capital Region. The 19-week-long series will be coordinated by OMIC and hosted by Ottawa recording artist Tara Shannon, as well as other special guests.

Sam Stone 

Sam Stone is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa, ON who showcases her soulful, powerhouse vocals and seasoned stage presence during any performance opportunity. Her vocals are in high demand in the Ottawa and surrounding area performing acoustically, with a full band, or in studio as a session vocalist. Sam is currently getting ready to debut her new, original project in March 2023 inspired by country lyrics and soulful melodies and received a nomination for Jazz/Blues Musician of the year with the 2023 Ottawa Awards.

The lads from 4DAY, since their high school days, have always had one thing on their minds: Coldplay or Oasis? Regardless, it's safe to say both, alongside other acts such as Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon and Maroon 5, have all left their mark on the young Ottawa group's sound. Over the last 4 years, they have won over the hearts of music and party lovers from all walks of life. While performing at a variety of local venues, their captivating, high-energy concerts guarantee a fun night full of never-forget memories.
