Joan Smith and the Jane Does

Joan Smith & the Jane Does are leaving an indelible mark on Canada’s rock scene. Praised by Great Dark Wonder for their authentic hard rock sound, they’ve quickly earned a place in the alt rock landscape. Their debut album, “Do Me Some Harm” (October 2023), was produced by band member Tom Juhas and mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures).

Raphaela Nehme

To Canada by way of Lebanon, Raphaela is a multicultural singer/songwriter. She aims to evoke wonder and daydreaming in her audience through her timeless, affectionate and mature sounding voice, lyrics and melodies. Raphaela discovered her knack for storytelling and writing melodies At 14 years old. In Lebanon, she recorded her first EP of original music. However, it sat in Raphaela’s closet for years while she figured out music marketing. A pursuit of university studies in Journalism and Communications allowed Raphaela to hone in on her writing skills, which led her to become a better songwriter and storyteller. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Raphaela reaffirmed her lifelong love for music and decided to independently write and release her original music. Since then, she has released her first three singles, “Fifth Street” and “South of France” in 2022, and her third single “Happy Endings” released in 2023. Raphaela is working on new releases for 2024.
