City Sounds Live is a travelling music festival, presented in partnership with BIAs and co-curators, in various neighbourhoods around the city of Ottawa. Created in 2021 thanks to funding from the City of Ottawa’s Economic Development Department, City Sounds Live promotes diverse local emerging artists and encourages economic growth. The concerts aim to provide residents and visitors of Ottawa with free, family-friendly, and inclusive outdoor live music experiences that foster community involvement, social cohesion, and increased spending in the surrounding areas.

Chanté & Kev

Two voices, one acoustic guitar, and a bilingual repertoire blending popular classics with hidden gems—that’s what you can expect from the duo Chanté & Kev. Formed in 2018, this dynamic pair has refined their show over the years, performing on numerous stages throughout the Outaouais region. Their musical experience, shaped through various past bands and projects, allows them to deliver a performance that’s both genuine and vibrant, infused with a unique energy. The stage is like a second home, and with contagious passion, they invite you to experience unforgettable musical moments.

Aurora's Reef

Aurora’s Reef is a six-piece reggae collective straight from the soul of Canada’s capital. Their fresh fusion of roots reggae, ska, and swing are signature to their performances.

They've been featured at Ottawa's legacy venues like The Rainbow Bistro, municipal events like Ottawa Ribfest and Kinaxis InConcert, and were keynote performers at provincial and internationally acclaimed events such as the Ontario Moonshine Festival, North Buxton Homecoming Celebration, and the IndieCity Patio Live Summer Music Series.

Now crafting their self-titled album Aurora’s Reef, listeners will be able to connect to their soon-to-be classic originals like Sarsaparilla, Road Burn, and Event Horizon.
