City Sounds Live is a travelling music festival, presented in partnership with BIAs and co-curators, in various neighbourhoods around the city of Ottawa. Created in 2021 thanks to funding from the City of Ottawa’s Economic Development Department, City Sounds Live promotes diverse local emerging artists and encourages economic growth. The concerts aim to provide residents and visitors of Ottawa with free, family-friendly, and inclusive outdoor live music experiences that foster community involvement, social cohesion, and increased spending in the surrounding areas.

Audrey Saparno
Audrey Saparno is an Ottawa singer-songwriter. Her warm and powerful vocals accompanied by her acoustic guitar weave a soulful sound to her folk-style songs. Songwriting lets her share her stories from a Canadian Muslim woman perspective.
Audrey has performed on various Ottawa stages, including Ottawa Grassroots Festival (2024), Ottawa International Writers Festival (2023), In Our Tongues at ClubSaw Gallery for Asian Heritage month 2022.
Her latest singles, No.1 Fan and Bill21 released in 2023 were recorded with Jim Bryson. She hopes to record and release her full length album to follow her debut EP, Beauty Inside of 2016.
August John
August John is the artist and performance project of multi-instrumentalist and guitarist, Jonathan Quach. Based in Ottawa, August John's sound is essentially indie rock. He skillfully writes, records, and produces music by himself at home Ottawa. August John is excited to announce that he and his band will be playing shows in Ottawa the coming months at venues such as Live on Elgin on August 18, 2024, and Avant Garde Bar on October 18, 2024. August John will be releasing an EP on June 22nd called "The Summer Story".
