May Davis is an emerging singer-songwriter living off-grid in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. Her unique and unforgettable sound pulls from blues, americana and old-time country western with smokey vocals that echo vintage crooners like Bobbie Gentry and Janis Joplin, but the unforgettable stories and songs she brings to the stage are all her own. Davis unveiled a trio of foot-tapping tunes in 2023 and a deadly music video for her project, Black Widow, supported by CreativeBC. She has opened for notable artists including Frazey Ford, Elliot Brood and Shred Kelly and recently performed at the iconic Mariposa Folk Festival and Ottawa Blues Festival. Davis has plenty more tricks up her sleeve for 2024 including her upcoming 'Dusty Boots Desert Tour' so buckle up and stay tuned!
