Live from the Booth: BVNG, DJ Trinidaddy

Description

A collaboration between the Sparks Street BIA and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) is bringing local music to The Booth on Sparks St all summer long! The concert series featuring electronic artists and DJs, Live from the Booth, will take place every Saturday from 6pm-8pm. Music lovers from the Ottawa region are invited to come start their Saturday evenings with good tunes on Sparks Street. The project will be run by Ottawa’s own Fabien Pleur, local music producer, vocalist, DJ, event coordinator, multimedia artist, and arts administrator.

BVNG is an Ottawa-based DJ known for delivering high-energy sets that blend various genres and create unforgettable vibes. With a passion for music and a keen sense of rhythm, BVNG brings fresh and dynamic vibes to every event.

DJ Trinidaddy  

DJ TRINIDADDY (they/he) is an Indo-Trinidadian Odawa-based and Tkaronto-born DJ, musician, & overall multidimensional artist. As a queer & non-binary femme in the Ottawa DJ & music community since 2018, they aim to create more space for QTBIPOC in party & gathering spaces, and hope to inspire & build community through their sounds. Their curation serves as a grounding force, choosing to reflect the times and truly showcase global music. From soca, chutney, dancehall, South Asian edits, Arab/SWANA edits to amapiano, afrobeats, UKG, baile funk & many more, there's no way yuh cah free up & feel up yuhself when they're spinning!
