Live from the Booth: DJ Celestial

Description

A collaboration between the Sparks Street BIA and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) is bringing local music to The Booth on Sparks St all summer long! The concert series featuring electronic artists and DJs, Live from the Booth, will take place every Saturday from 6pm-8pm. Music lovers from the Ottawa region are invited to come start their Saturday evenings with good tunes on Sparks Street. The project will be run by Ottawa’s own Fabien Pleur, local music producer, vocalist, DJ, event coordinator, multimedia artist, and arts administrator.

DJ Celestial

Celeste (she/they) is a Canadian-Bahamian DJ, community organizer (@passthevibes), and multidisciplinary creative graciously growing roots on Algonquin territory, Ottawa over the past several years. She is passionate about dreaming and nurturing spaces for wellness, care, and healing within her communities, through music, movement, and (re)connecting to the magic of lands & waters close to us. They like to experiment with celestial and electronic sounds mixed with your favourite 90s/00s R&B classics and island vibes!
