Songs from the Shed: Ben Borg, Phosphor String Duo

Description

A collaboration between the Sparks Street BIA and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) is bringing local music to The Shed on Sparks St all summer long! The lunchtime concert series, Songs from the Shed, will takes place from 12pm-1:30pm. Music lovers from the Ottawa region are invited to come enjoy lunch outdoors with a variety of captivating singer-songwriters in solo or duo formations. The project will be run by Ottawa’s own Jessy Lindsay, bilingual singer-songwriter and program coordinator.

Ben Borg

Ben is an Ottawa-based musician. A student of classical guitar, he is exploring the intersection of classical, metal, and folk idioms on classical, steel string and electric guitars.

Phosphor String Duo

Phosphor String Duo are Renee Dahn and Erik Johnson-Scherger. Partners in both life and music, they have been performing together for over a decade as classical, folk, and avant-garde musicians. They love their cat, Tofu, very much.
