Description
A collaboration between the Sparks Street BIA and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) is bringing local music to The Shed on Sparks St all summer long! The lunchtime concert series, Songs from the Shed, will takes place from 12pm-1:30pm. Music lovers from the Ottawa region are invited to come enjoy lunch outdoors with a variety of captivating singer-songwriters in solo or duo formations. The project will be run by Ottawa’s own Jessy Lindsay, bilingual singer-songwriter and program coordinator.

Eskadela
Eskadela was born into a musical family in Congo, where playing music was a part of daily life. However, when war broke out, his family was forced to flee to the Nyarugusu refugee camp in Tanzania. Despite the hardships of camp life, Eskadela’s passion for music never waned. He found solace in picking up a guitar and practicing whenever he could. Years later, Eskadela moved to Canada, where he continues to pursue his love for music. His journey, marked by resilience and determination, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft.
CHASE.
Chase Van Dusen is an Independent Canadian Singer/Songwriter from Ottawa/Gatineau. Chase Van Dusen, or CHASE. just released a 4 song EP entitled, "Blueprint". This EP was produced by JUNO Award winning producer Siegfried Meier (Face to Face, KITTIE) and it was mastered by Troy Glessner (Death Cab for Cutie). CHASE. is currently performing acoustically in support of the “Blueprint” EP.
