A collaboration between the Sparks Street BIA and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) is bringing local music to The Shed on Sparks St all summer long! The lunchtime concert series, Songs from the Shed, will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-1:30pm. Music lovers from the Ottawa region are invited to come enjoy lunch outdoors with a variety of captivating singer-songwriters in solo or duo formations. The project will be run by Ottawa’s own Jessy Lindsay, bilingual singer-songwriter and program coordinator.

12pm - Nic Sauvé
Nic Sauvé is a Franco-Ontarian artist from Kingston. A bilingual musician from the Thousand Islands region, Nic sings in French and English, telling stories of personal experiences as well as aspects of the human experience such as loneliness, grief, resilience, and love.
12:55pm - Elizabeth Royall
Elizabeth Royall is an indie/alt-rock singer-songwriter based in Ottawa, Ontario. In 2019, she was a performer at la Maison de la Culture in a lineup including Les 2 frères and La Chicane. Her single "Leave Me" was a semi-finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition, and she won SOCAN's 2024 Young Canadian Songwriter Awards.
