Tell us about your new single!
My new single, “When You Find Your Heart Is Broken”, is from my upcoming EP! It’s a doowop little thing!
What type of style/inspiration did you have?
I was listening to a lot of 70s piano stuff, Carol King and Randy Newman sort of thing, and it kind of inspired me!
Who helped you in the creation of this single?
Olivia Fairfield from Hull played drums on it, Robin Dann and Felicity Williams. They’re singers from Toronto, they sing background with Bahamas. So a lot of great people! My producer Pat Brennan is also in town here, and then there’s a jazz guitarist from Edmonton!
