The overarching goal of the Ottawa music industry is to make Ottawa an awesome place to play music, work in the industry or be a music fan. How do we do that? By supporting our members and the music community at large in their development.
As a member-based organization, we work with our members to advocate on behalf of the local industry at all levels of government and provide the knowledge, training and network needed to help them reach their business and career goals.
Anyone who works in the music industry in Ottawa or the surrounding region (within 150km) is eligible to become an OMIC member. Our current members include solo artists, bands, producers, managers, venues, festivals, recording studios, record shops and music educators.
* Members will be required to adhere to a code of conduct in order to maintain their membership. Code of conduct currently in development.
