Sing House Studios is seeking a passionate and experienced vocalist to teach in their Orleans studio! See below for details:

Position: Vocal teacher 

Hours: Minimum 2 days a week, opportunity to teach up to 6 days a week (optional)

Salary range: $30-40/hour 

Start Date: September 2019

Role: Vocal Teacher

  • Teach 60 minute vocal lessons to students of all ages

  • Set goals for students and monitor progress

  • Build relationships with parents/families

  • Prepare for performances, music exams, audio recordings and videos


  • 2 years teaching experience (preferred)

  • Music degree/ diploma or equivalent

  • Bilingual (preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Capable of working independently and a commitment to a team environment

This position requires:

  • A passion for and knowledge of music

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet deadlines 

  • Strong people skills with good judgment and diplomacy and the ability to work with others

  • Friendly and approachable, strong networking and relationship building skills

  • Self-reliant computer skills, including proficiency in Garage Band and iMovie
