In partnership with Kinaxis, the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition coordinates Kinaxis InConcert performances at the Kinaxis headquarters. Featuring touring and local artists, these private concerts are for Kinaxis employees only. These concerts provide quality entertainment during the workday, as well as an opportunity to connect with and be inspired by artists and music creators local to, and passing through, Ottawa. To participate in this program, touring artists are required to perform a public show in or around the city of Ottawa, ensuring interaction with the community.
As well, in an effort to foster aspiring talent behind the board and help with the sound tech labour shortage, the Kinaxis Stage Crew Mentorship Program allows OMIC to hire individuals to shadow professional sound technicians and gain experience working during a live performance.
