About Music x Business Grants
Facilitated by the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC), the new Music x Business Development Fund aims to support the growth and innovation of Ottawa's music industry. Thanks to funding from Kinaxis, the 2024 Music Video Production Stream will provide direct funding to music industry professionals to facilitate the production of high-quality music videos, whether live or recorded, showcasing original music by artists based in the Ottawa region. This initiative seeks to amplify local music, foster creativity, and promote online engagement for Ottawa's vibrant music community.
Submissions are open to artists, videographers, labels and venue operators from August 13th-September 4th at 5 PM ET, 2024 for the production of new music videos to be released publicly before July 31st, 2025. Successful submissions will be contacted by OMIC by September 27th, 2024.Â
