We want to hear from venue owners and operators to get a better understanding of Ottawa’s current live music landscape and how we can help address challenges.

Topics to-be-discussed include:

  • Customer retention post-lockdown (observations, accommodations or ways that you’ve pivoted to make programming and/or financial changes)
  • Alcohol and ticket sales
  • Booking and promotion practices
  • Safety and community/infrastructure resources
  • Any other comments that are important to you and your operations

This closed-door meeting will be hosted by OMIC and the Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA), with participation from Ottawa’s Nightlife Commissioner.

Thank you to the City of Ottawa and Music Ontario for making this event possible.

Please note that this is a closed-door meeting for venue owners and operators and that future Town Halls will be held for other sectors of the Ottawa-area music industry.Â
