The LYNNEs pick up 2 CFMAs in Calgary!

Congratulations are in order for The LYNNEs who recently returned from the Canadian Folk Music Awards in Calgary with hardware. The local super-duo, comprised of songwriters Lynne Hansen and Lynn Miles, won ‘Ensemble of the Year / Groupe de l’année’ as well as ‘English Songwriters of the Year / Auteur-compositeurs anglophone de l’année’ for their work on their debut album Heartbreak Song for the Radio, which was released on vinyl this past weekend on Record Centre Records.

Congratulations also go out to Jack Pine & The Fire who was nominated for New/Emerging Artist of the Year and performed during the Saturday gala.
