This month, we’re excited to offer our members one-on-one virtual mentorship sessions with Danielle Carragher! Dani (based in Belfast, Northern Ireland), is not only an incredibly talented folk musician, but also a conflict transformation facilitator and has completed multiple international artist residencies.

More about Dani:

Danielle Carragher, DANI, is a folk musician and conflict transformation facilitator. Her sound is inspired by the Irish traditional melodies she was raised with, her song writing narrative delves into the Celtic mythic imagination.

DANI was this year’s Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Artist in Residence which saw her support Rufus Wainwright, Joshua Burnside, The Eskies, Say Sue Me and Sneaks.

DANI has completed international residencies in Indonesia and Colombia and has carried out music-based conflict transformation work in Palestine and Northern Ireland.

You can listen to her latest release The Mother Within, a collaboration with Indonesian percussionists KunoKini.

Interested in chatting with Dani about your career in music? Session time-slots are available (online) every Monday in October between 1-3pm.
